Works Well Productions and East 15 Acting School unite to present a spectacular, physical, comic and accessible re-telling of Odysseus’ journey home.

Troy has fallen, His wooden Horse trick worked like a charm.
Odysseus had always been clever.
The infant Son of his enemy thrown from the charred walls of the city,
(Too clever to have him growing up and seeking revenge)
And now the journey home.
A simple sea voyage back to Penelope his Queen.
(Been away for ten years, but Odysseus is sure he can talk her round..)

Simple…

Of course not.. It wouldn’t be an ‘epic’ if it was simple, would it?

And now he must negotiate a host of dangers, DISTRACTIONS and delays..
It was hard enough to get his pesky crew away from those ‘lotus eaters’,
Let alone having to deal with a ‘who’s who’ of malevolent mythological monsters, Cyclops, sea-monsters, Sirens, and seductress’ (mortal and immortal,) and all this With a crew more edible than reliable..

Still, better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick.
This is his story after all, and he must face
Peril, temptation, sea sickness and the interfering gods of Olympus.
With only his wit and his libido to save him.
Anyway, maybe the journey really is the point.
